2016 Pinot Noir

2016 Pinot Noir

25.00

Harvested over the second and third weeks of

September, our Pinot is fermented in small

open-top tanks and macro bins, with

approximately 15% whole clusters. The grapes

were punched down or received pump-overs

three times per day. After 14 days of maceration,

the must was pressed and put into barrel, where

it underwent malolactic fermentation, and was

aged without racking for 10 months.

Aromatically, our 2016 Estate Pinot exhibits

pretty bright notes of dried cherry, eucalyptus,

crushed raspberry, and thyme. The wine has a

bright entry and full mid-palate with rich flavors

of cherry compote, nori, and ripe plum, that are

pleasantly framed by notes of vanilla and

delicate baking spice. The finish shows intense

notes of black cherry with a beautiful blend of

wild rose and dried redwood needles.
